Cinema in Tyneside

Tyneside Cinema and Culture10 present a celebration of 100 years of Cinema on Tyneside, from its beginnings in Newcastle's first ever purpose-built cinema space, the Star/Apollo on Prudhoe Street, which opened on 13 April 1908.
 
Part of NewcastleGateshead's programme of festivals and events in 2008, tc100 is managed by Culture10 and NewcastleGateshead Initiative.
